Usher (Usher Raymond IV) was born on 14 October 1978 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. Drawn from LaFace Records' seemingly inexhaustible wellspring of young R&B acts, Usher is one of the few who can boast of real star quality and staying power.
Usher started singing in the church choir (led by his mom Jonetta Patton) when he was six years old. When Usher was 14 he was spotted at a talent show by a record executive.
Eventually the company signed the young singer while he was still in high school.
Chemphe on the other hand grew up in music city of Tema and has been very instrumental in the sustainability of R and B in the system.
His "New Day" album which was launched in Norway in 2011 will be part of his double CD album package to be launched together with the “Purple Kiss” album in the third quarter of 2012. He is the best Pan African R&B artiste from Ghana and has performed in different concerts in Asia, Scandinavia, Europe and more.
At a recent update from the camp of Chemphe proved that the RnB stunner was very impressed with the comeback of Usher Raymond who also happens to be one of key artistes in the world.
He emphasized that the immense growth of RnB should be a collective effort and congratulated Usher for topping the world chart again with his new hit “Climax”.
Though there have been a lot of speculations about Chemphe dropping the Climax mixtape he mentioned that his fans are really pushing for it due and it might be considered.
