One of the biggest Barrack Obama fan in Ghana without a doubt is the reggae singer/ radio presenter Blakk Rasta. During Obama’s campaign, Blakk Rasta showed his support for the then first ever African-American presidential candidate of the US by creating the hit song, title ‘Barrack Obama’ to urge Obama’s ambitions on.
Since President Obama would be visiting Ghana in July, which other artist qualifies most to perform for him while here other than the man who single-handedly made Obama a household name across Ghana? Reports suggest that in fact Blakk Rasta will perform during Obama’s visit to Ghana.
He confirmed the news on NET2 TV, where he expressed joy at the decision of the government to include him in the activities during Obama’s famous visit.
As controversial as ever, Blakk Rasta also went ahead to suggest that his song becomes the national anthem of Ghana while Obama is in the country
