Meet your new Vodafone Icons winners - Black N Peach (Emma Orleans-Lindsay, Noble Nii Nortey and Noella Wiyaala) who edged out Waves and Vybez in the 2nd season finale of Vodafone Icons.
The show remains a hot promotional platform with Benny Blanco been the host for the past thirteen weeks.
Even before the show commenced at the very jam-packed National Theatre it was clear that Black N Peach was going to carry the day. Their choice of songs were on point which was loved by the judges (Ms Naa, Gena West and Appietus) and the audience.
Waves made up of Rosemary Ampofoh, Gertrude Hansen-Sackey and Joshua couldn’t make into the third round as Black N Peach and Vbyes had to battle it out for the grand prize.
Vybez came up on stage strongly singing New Edition's, 'Cool It Down' but couldn’t please the fans and judges.
Black N Peach put their all into performing Tina Tuner's 'Simply The Best' which made them the victors for the nite.
Black N Peach walks away with a brand new KIA Sorento which is supposed to keep them together as a group, GHS60,000, a one year management contract and also perform at the Vodafone 020 Live 2012.
