Asem's highly expected second album, “Solid Ground”, is finally available for his legion of fans. And those fans showed their intense support for Asem at a Accra Mall yesterday.
Die hard fans waited hours for a chance to catch the \Wobedatem' hiphip/hiplife emcee in person.
Inside, the crowd swelled, as everyone from toddlers to old folks waited for Asem to make his 1pm appearance.
When Asem finally took his place at the signing table, the crowd brought out their, digital cameras, camera phones in the air and falling over one another to snap pics.
Asem also flashed his 'stunnar' smile for the cameras and began greeting the hundreds of fans who enveloped Accra Mall.
According to Asem's manager Kofi, around 600 people came out to greet Asem, and fans began lining up the day after 2 p.m. to buy the album, t-shirts and other souvenirs.
Asem follows it up with his album release party at African Regent Hotel on SATURDAY 24th of March 2012 at 7pm. The tickets go GHC20 and GHC40 VIP.Kwabena Kwabena, Irene Logan, Tinny, Reggie Rockstone, Tic Tac, Edem, OJ blaq, Stonebwoy and many more will be supporting him. The After Party will be at Club 11 & Grand Papazz.
Proceeds on that day will go to support the ASEM Education Foundation.
