Seemingly out of the blue Asaase Aban have announced that they are introducing a new genre of Ghanaian music to their fans called "Dekoko" music. Listen to Dekoko by Asaase Aban
Yooba B revealed the news in an interview with Ghana Music.com, where he said "Dekoko music is a fusion of hiphop, crunk music and hiplife. We promised plenty of goodies this year. We ain't joking, we mean business.
The good air play is bringing us a few shows but we need more". "Our new single talks about you meeting a nice girl and pampering her", Yooba B added.
Walker is very swollen with pride about their new album. "When we came back this time, we said we ain't joking. Our new single 'Dekoko' is a straight banger", he said beaming with smiles.
Their last two albums, 'Nana Yaa' generally received good reviews but were largely ignored by the general public.
Yooba B, Walker and Drasty form the group - Asaase Aban have 2 albums ('Sokode' and 'Nana Yaa') to their credit.
