The 10th edition of the annual Ghana Music Awards is in the spotlight this July, revealing just how potent the scene is in Ghana. Once again, Channel O partnered with the event, which took place in April in the city of Accra and will be showcasing all the winners, performances and glamour in July.
Sponsors MTN rolled out the Yellow Carpet for the pre-show glitz and Channel O's Amplified brings viewers the who’s who of the Ghanaian music scene in the first segment of the Ghana Music Awards spotlight. With Channel O’s very own Lungsta driving the action, this has all the ingredients of a must-see show that will bring viewers right up to date with who’s hot in West Africa in 2009.
Channel O spoke to some of the artists who were there on the night as well as celebrities who turned up to show their support for Ghanaian music and artists. The Ghana Music Awards air on Saturday 25 July at 5PM, with repeats on Sunday 26 July at 8.30AM and Tuesday 28 July at 7.30PM so there’s no excuse for missing out!| < Prev | Next > |
