The popular Ghanaian singing competition, Mentor returned to TV3 with season 5 this weekend. The competition which has seen several winners and the runners-up pursue musical careers with relative success hopes to continue unearthing musical talents in Ghana.
During the launch on Sunday, a new host, actress Lydia Forson was unveiled for the season and the contestants from the Eastern, Ashanti, Western, and Greater Accra regions were revealed.
They came on stage performing alongside the likes of Sasha Marley, Paulina Oduro and others. Week in week out, they will perform under several themes and solicit for votes from the public and judges to stay in the competition until only one is declared as the ultimate winner.
