On July 27th 2012, Spinlet Music service for Africa went live in Ghana at the African Regant Hotel.
Joke, a team member of Spinlet took the invited guests through the platform whiles the CEO Spinlet, Eric Idiahi handled the technical issues.
Some Ghanaian artists who are on the Spinlet platform currently include; Okyeame Kwame, Trigmatic Blitz, Becca, Tinny, D-Black and XO Senavoe.
Spinlet allows artistes promote their music, share their favourite songs on social networks and earn income from sales and has also been in talks with record labels in Europe, Africa and Asia to increase its listing of music.
Spinlet team members also stressed on the fact that they sign non-exclusive agreements with artists and record labels.
Spinlet music app can be found on the Android, BlackBerry and symbian platform.
The brief launch was emceed by Kiki Banson in partnership with MUSIGA.
