Ghana’s most endorsed live band group, Sky Masters Band on last Tuesday night thrilled hundreds of music lovers who thronged the Independence Square for the centenary birthday concert of the Ghana's first president Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
The concert dubbed Kwame Nkrumah Centenary African Music Night Celebration, organised under the auspices of the African Union and the Government of Ghana was to celebrate the birthday of the Dr Nkrumah and African Unity.
The night saw a long list of international and local music stars such as Baaba Maal, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Black Rasta, Amakye Dede, 4x4, VIP, Nana Boroo, Shasha Marley, Kwaku Gyasi, No Tribe and Sky Masters who thrilled the audience to their non-stop music.
Just when one thought Sky Masters were just other new artistes to Ghanaians, the crowd could be heard and seen enjoying every bit of their performance to the point that the overjoyed crowd led the singing.
The bandsmen were just so fantastic and very skilful when it came to performance. The crowd couldn’t resist the stars and they demanded for more. The MCs for the night Bola Ray, Akumaa and Papa Sly were compelled to heed to the request of the crowd and let Sky Masters continue performing.
