    Rapper, Dr. Cryme surprises 37 Military hospital on Mothers’ Day

    Hiplife rapper, Dr Cryme (Creative Rhymes You Most Enjoy) ended the almost 30 year absence of donations to the Poku Ward of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra when he donated items to mothers at the ward on Mothers’ Day.

    The UN Volunteer Ambassador spent time and effort to make sure that the sick parents were left out of the celebrations of motherhood on the day.

    In a moving speech, the rapper said mothers are the backbone of the family and they need to be celebrated.

    The rapper, who has shared stage with Busta Rhyme, Spliff Star, Rick Ross and other world renowned artist added a gold-plated plaque to the assorted items he donated to the hospital.

    E-Jam Records, the official management company of the artist explained that the idea behind the donation was to set a pace for other upcoming celebrities to be a role model for society, by donating and influencing their peers positively. James Korsah, CEO of E-Jam explained that the donation was one of many projects lined up for the first half of the year, and that the company is also ready to release the artist for other social oriented  projects from gender issues to medical issues.

    Dr. Cryme’s ‘Finally Finally’ album which embraces Twipop, an emerging genre of music in Ghana, will officially be released in July followed by album tours accordingly.

    He registered one of the biggest tunes in Ghana for the months of March and April via downloads and airplay for his hit single “Kill Me Shy”,  which is currently airing on OBE TV in London, Channel 0 and other  radio and TV stations around the world.

    Dr Cryme’s donation to the Hospital to was supported by E-Jam Records, Ama K Abebrese, Emily’s Place, Kesdem Hotel, Seasons Travels and Tours, Media Whizz Kids and the 37 Military Hospital.
