It was a bright Saturday and most people in the industrial city of Ghana, Tema were busily making provision for another sleepless night for what was taunted as the biggest exposure party ever to hit West Africa. Prior to that, E Jam upon scrutiny and considerations merged with Adom FM, XFM, Hitz FM, Ghana Music.com, 4syte TV, Akwaaba UK, BET and E Jam promotions for an immense advert via radio, TV, online and other media.
Endorsements via TV and internet from Squad Boys of Holland who are also on the same label (E Jam) with Dr. Cryme served as a good development for the programme.
Various endorsements from Nana Borro, Ruff-N-Smooth, Eazzy, D-Black & Kwaku T, Bradez, Yaw Siki, Stay Jay and more pushed the publicity further more.
Dr. Cryme currently presents 4 Syte TV’s Top Ten on the E TV channel and is doing surprisingly well with his two hit singles “Mene Woa” and “Kill Me Shy” which he is expected to perform at Akwaaba UK’s party in the park event in London on August 7, 2010.
The programme which was scheduled for 11pm on Saturday 5th June 2010 had fans coming in as early as 9pm basically to get them abreast with the scenery and other activities at Barcadis night club; since most of them came from all walks of life. Valerie of E jam did a remarkable job by strategically positioning artistes on the performance line-up in close collaboration and help of her co-label mate Coaches D’emporer.
Performance from Keche, Ikonz, Soldier, Dadie Opanka, Yaw Siki, Stone (Bradez), Macho Rapper and Ephraim were good to get the programme started. The sports bar and night club were packed with fans awaiting their favourite artistes perform. R2Bees changed the dancing mood, increased the heat by coming on to perform 'Kiss Your Hands and 'TEMA' which Sarkodie was featured.
The fast lips slippery tongue Ghana’s artiste of the year proved his worth by performing 'Good Bye' from his undoored "Rapperholic" album.
At exactly halfway through the programme, E Jam with close collaboration from Mad Time records presented to the fans their much awaited artiste, poet and presenter, Dr. Cryme. Kwaw Kese introduced Dr.Cryme to the stage and left fans going wild. The artiste on a mission quickly performed his 'Tambourine' (mixtape), “Mene Woa”, “Kill Me Shy” and freestyles.
E Jam presented a plaque with kind support from sponsors, artistes, fans, colleagues from JICA and United Nations. The programme was ordained as the most prolific and highly attended event ever to have hit a night club and sports in Tema. Fans cannot wait for Dr. Cryme’s “Kill Me Shy” video premiere which will be due soon.
