The much anticipated album launch for one of the biggest break through gospel acts of the year, B&D’s 'Who Go Fit Challenge God?’ recently took place at the Christ Redeemer Church in Toronto.
There were also appearances from Nigerian group, Francis and Mary as well as the El Shaddai music group from Zaire. With each performance, the anxious crowd grew with more anticipation to see and hear from B&D. The MC, Kwasi Sarfo tried his best to control the anxiety before introducing the hit gospel duo but it wasn’t until the Gospel Queen, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has gotten her chance to perform.
Finally, the moment everybody was waiting for arrived when B&D made their way to the entrance with their worship song, ‘Bediako Mu Osahene’. They later followed it up with hit songs like ‘Me Yi Na Ye’ and the popular ‘Winner Remix’. The crowd got on their feet dancing and singing to the songs. The performances were halted to make way for the official launching of the album by the Chairwoman, Mrs. Tate and her assistant, Mr. Mark Livingston. And after the very successful auctioning of some prime copies of the CDs, B&D performed the title track 'Who Go Fit Challenge God?' They brought the launch to an end with ‘Ebe Ye Yie’. According to the duo of cousins, the launching was a testimony to show the awesomeness of God; and indeed how no one could challenge Him.
According to reports from Toronto, copies of the album are flying off music shelves and the album has everybody in town talking. 'Who Go Fit Challenge God?' has 9 solid tracks and bonus instrumental. It is currently making waves in Ghana with music videos showing on local TV stations and radio airplay as well.
