The energetic evergreen live band music legend, Amakye Dede thrilled scores  of revelers at his December 27 concert, ‘Abrantie Amakye Dede Live In Concert’ at the Accra International Conference Centre. Among the many highlights of the hugely successful and well patronized concert was the musician’s most bold attempt with the English language yet!

In an uncharacteristic manner, Amakye Dede spent minutes addressing the crowd in English language instead of his more familiar tongue, Twi.

The much-hyped Kumasi homecoming concert of high life veteran, Daddy Lumba failed to happen in the Garden City due to a bad sound setup. The sold-out event saw thousands of revelers hit the venue to see the music superstar perform but ended up with disappointment and frustration when the concert was cancelled.

In a statement signed by Kwabena Agyeman-Kobia, Event Publicist, the management of Home Proud Entertainment, organizers of the ‘Homecoming Concert’ in Kumasi, apologized to patrons for the sad incident.

God must have descended the heavens into the Adae-kese Hall of La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra Saturday evening, where a great number of His faithful gathered under the ministrations of some of the most powerful musical voices, led by Danny Nettey, to give Him praise for His goodness.

The outpouring of benedictions, sermons, exhortations and praises rendered in songs, coupled with the refined performances by the classy array of musicians, was enough to create a church atmosphere as many shed tears of joy – overwhelmed by the atmosphere.

Rych Entertainment in association with Rockstone's Office are doing the official ReeZon album release party on the 30th December, 2010. This is the second album titled "ReeZon 2.0" and the time is set for 6pm which is a free entry event.

Jayso and his whole family – Skillions will be there, CANZ repping it straight from Atlanta, SYN (label mate of ReeZon), Replay, Padlock, Morning Tee, Justin Maw and Taifa Boi will be supporting heavily on stage. DJ Bonsu will be handling affairs for the whole nite.
