Jane Awindor was one of the brightest stars of the first edition of the Stars of the Future music reality show organised by Charter House.
That show saw Irene Logan emerging as the winner and Jane Awindor, second runner-up.
The two formed the music duo, Irene and Jane who took the music scene by storm with their album ‘Unveiled’ which had songs like Baby which featured Wutah and Heat it up.
They had other artists like Amandzeba and Blu3 from Uganda on the album. The duo worked together for two years and separated on mutual grounds.
Irene is already making waves on her own as a solo artist with the release of the song ‘Run Away’ featuring Asem under the Lynx Entertainment record label.
Jane Awindor also known as Miss Jane is also currently working on her album.
In an interview with GTV's entertainment programme, Rythmz on Saturday, she said although she is still studying at the University of Ghana, she is currently busy working on her solo album after the Irene and Jane duo.
Although she did not reveal the title of the album and when it will be out, she said “I want to make music that will make people happy and also have a reason to listen to it. It should have an impact.”
She said she loves Jazz, R&B and Soul and she is trying to put them together in her album to make it very good.
She added that she is working with sound engineers like Richie, Kwame Yeboah, Jay soul and Zapp Mallet to bring the best out of her and the album will be out soon.
She said it was fun being a part of Irene and Jane, adding that the two were still close, and hang out a lot.
