Nubian Stunnaz is a Dansoman (DC ) based Hip-hop / Hip-life duo, consisting of Joshua " Jay Mettler" Mettle and Arthur MB 'Kwame Species' Swatson.
The two met in 2007 to form a group to participate in Nescafe African Revelation with the group name " KAANYA".
Though they didn't make it to the finals they moved on to form another trio called DC Connection, adding one member called Nana Fokzi.
In 2009, the trio was recognize by the 4syte TV crew who gave them a head start by recording a song "Freeze" for one of their program (Music Box ). A video was shot for this song which was premiered each time the program was telecasted.
In that same year the duo released their first hiplife single called "All 4 U" featuring the producer KoDi soon after the release, the duo team up with the Lynx Record producer Richie Mensah to come out with yet another hit single "So Noor" .
A flow up joint video was shot for the two singles " All 4 U" and "So Noor".
The duo has a unique style, both talented individuals rap in pidgin and their various local dialect. Jay fuses the Ga, English & pidgin whiles Species also thus Fante, English & Pidgin.
The duo is out with two new singles "Pumpapa & Tumtum featuring Okyeame Kwame, Kwabena Kwabena and Shee.
Nubian Stunnaz is signed to X-cess Entertainment which is managed by PaaKWESI Ahensa.
