A new Afro pop group has emerged onto the Ghana music scene.

Afri GH is best known for their soundtrack to the movie '2 Wrongs' to which the song has paved the way for them.

“In 2010, we decided to go record our tracks in Ghana but our timing and holidays couldn't coincide. We were obliged to do a soundtrack for the movie '2 Wrongs' which needed to have a GH feel”, Ras I said.

Afri GH is a group comprising of Jerro and Ras I.

Afri GH, has not only been paving waves in one genre but are rapidly moving up on multiple music charts.

Their single “2 Wrongs" and other songs from the new CD, are receiving increased national and overseas airplay.

These young musicians can sing melodies that can broadcast energy and soulful voices transporting their audiences to another space and time.

Afri GH disclosed to Ghana Music, com that even though they aim to maintain GH consciousness and Pan-Africanism in the youth they also want to support the less privilege in society too.

“Afri GH is a conscious group. Our main aim is education for Africans. For now we've collaborated with Rotary Club Tema to donated books to schools in greater Accra and will spread Africa in due time” Jerro said.

Not just another reggae group, Afri GH intertwines themes of social and cultural awareness into their music, offering "food for the spirit as well as the soul.

Their style of music will forever be in our hearts. Afri GH has proven that "anything you set your soul to can be achieved".

Jeremiah E. T. Kennedy musically known as Jerro started doing music in his teens and remembers the first time he mounted the stage was in 1995 and continued to shows such Miss BECE, Miss SSCE and more and there has been no turning back.

A quick dive into the biography of Ras I shows that he is a native of Teshie and has always had a strong feeling for reggae music no wonder Bob Marley, Peter Torch, Culture were his music mentors. He has started doing music professionally in 2001 and has never turned his back then. Along the line he met Jerro who was the lead singer for live reggae band group and that was the birth of Afri GH.

For now they are armed with songs featuring N.D (a Nigerian artiste), Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.

These talented young duo are still unsigned and hope to catch the attention of any interested label or music promoter soon.

They both ended by saying “People should believe in us and our Afri GH music because it's timeless. We will never let them down”.
