In life, we all choose a path and follow it. Rosemary Obenewah Ansah aka Febry is no exception. From the day she was born, she envisaged influencing the younger generation with her music, whilst still working in the corporate world.

Febry, aside singing, works at one of Ghana’s finest insurance companies, Vanguard Assurance. Born in Febuary in the 80s, she has been doing music since her basic school days, performing at Kiddafest and singing in the church choir with her mother.

Febry had her secondary school education at Krobo Girls Secondary School and was so active in entertainment that she became the entertainment prefect in her final year.

Most people might see her combination of a corporate life and singing career as boring but she says, “I have been doing this for the past years and I enjoy whatever my passion springs up daily.

There is time for everything and I am sure using my time wisely.” Her style of music ranges from a blend of contemporary African rhythms and a fusion of R&B. Her primary objective is to see that the brand Febry goes beyond music and is able to save lives.

“I am a young woman and I feel so sad when I sometimes see for example people, especially young people, hawking on the streets of Ghana and trust me, that whole day’s sale may not amount to anything.

So I use my music to assist the needy and with which I have started from my home town, Manfi, Akuapem.”

She will forever remain grateful to all who have and still believe in her dream of touching lives through her songs, more also to the entire staff of Vanguard Assurance. As a young songstress, her music is mainly for the young and young at heart.
