These two aren't new: They both released separate singles eight years ago and have a string of hits. Still, we haven't heard them like this. Hamid “Lil Kryz” Hamma formerly known as Kriss and Michael “Double Eye” Nuwame, a name given to him because his friends believe that the things that he says almost always come true joined forces to drop an album. The two conjoined the lyrical powers which gave birth to FOI (Fruit Of Inspiration) and this move was inspired by Lazzy of VIP.

VIP is on their upcoming new album but 'We No Go Kpeme' and 'One More Time' singles are floating around the net right now.

Lil Kryz has a smooth flow in the English and Hausa language and Double Eye is a dope lyricist when he's focused on the Twi language.

When asked why the name “Fruit of Inspiration,” They both responded, “The name is based on what we represent. Fruit produces lots of knowledge and inspiration. When you plant the fruit it grows. And when you listen to our music we hope that it grows into your mind, they said together.

Both Double Eye and Lil Kryz agree that being in a group is easier than being single artists for a number of reasons. One reason is they found it beneficial for the two members to work to write and create more songs.

The pair's first collection album is the aptly titled “We No Go Kpeme”,a set that seeks to put FOI in the spotlight and into the class of MCs . The album will be due this year and will be executively produced by Hashim, CEO of Boogie Down Nima Productions (BDN).

In the meantime, they're continuing to record and moving on to the next set of producers. “We try to overcome the negativity in our community through music. Our newest single, “Its Not Easy” does just that; it encourages people to overcome struggle and work hard. It further sends the message that hard work is a long journey that will pay off. “We try to be an example for the youth so that they can stop their negative behaviors in order to achieve greater levels of success”, Double Eye said.
