Elizabeth Ampong's album contains message of hope and love, has rich rhythms like RnB, Reggae, African Highlife, Raga, etc., and it’s geared towards diverse ages and nationalities.

In these challenging times, this album presents the true word that will encourage us that THERE IS STILL HOPE and that LIFE IS STILL WORTH LIVING. If we can trust the creator of life He will help us live life successfully even in the midst of adversities!

Shout for Joy is really good for your daily meditation – thereby equipping you to face daily challenges.

With so many years’ experience in Praise and Worship, these songs have been composed by Elizabeth to express how real God is in real life situations.

This album, “Shout for Joy” was composed by inspiration of the Spirit of God. It contains the Word of God that will inspire and uplift its listeners.

The core message is about the love of God and His ability to turn situations around if only we can trust in Him. It helps its listener to reflect on the goodness of God and based on that break forth into singing and overcome the temptation of bowing to their problems. In this situation you have nothing to do than to SHOUT FOR JOY because you know WITH GOD YOU HAVE OVERCOME.

It is geared towards all ages and nationalities. It has many different rhythms – Reggae, RnB, Highlife, Raga, etc. – You will definitely find stuff you love in this album. Every song on this album has a capacity to move and inspire you from deep within no matter your situation.

“I believe that in these challenging times, with chaos all around us, we need the true word that will encourage us that THERE IS STILL HOPE and that LIFE IS STILL WORTH LIVING. If we can trust the creator of life He will help us live life successfully even in the midst of adversities” says Elizabeth. “There is hope in your future, says the LORD”, Jeremiah 31:17

Album opens up with a reggae song “Come Unto Me”, which assures us that God loves us and is calling us unto Himself. The miracles He did before He is still able and willing to do for us. This is followed by four fast paces highlife songs: “Wedzi Nkunyim” talking about Christ overcoming death and winning victory for us; “Shout for Joy” which is also the album title that affirms that we have overcome the world – very inspirational and motivational; “Hen Nyame Tse Ase” tells us to trust in God because He is alive and with us so whenever we call on Him He will hear us.

Elizabeth collaborates with Evans Atta-Fynn and Abigail Sampo to do a great job combining Fanti, Twi and Ewe on this song. Then comes the raga song “Ibi Him” which is in broken English.

It speaks for itself clearly inspired by what Joshua told the people of Israel that “choose you this day who you will serve but as for me and my family we will serve the Lord”. Elizabeth collaborates with one of the nicest rap artistes in Chicago – Ben Akorli to do such a nice work on this song. Next song “Eye Wo” is a slow paced highly inspiring song that talks about how God picks us from no where and brings us to a place of destiny – great lyrics, rich vocals, beautiful melody – might bring you to tears.

Then comes the three powerful worship songs: “Give Unto the Lord” a song inspired by Psalm 29 proclaiming different attributes that show how great God is. “Behold The Throne” led by male vocal inspired by Revelations 4, explains the beauty of God and how the angels and the host of heaven worship God.

And finally one of my favorites “Worship Our Maker”, very beautiful RandB worship that will just whip you into nothing but worship God as your maker – just beautiful. You CAN NOT play these songs and have a bad day. It is definitely a must have in your car, closet, church, functions, etc.
