Artiste of the Year - This is a tough one but I expect Okyeame Kwame to win this one he already won the title at the Joy FM Night with the Stars.

Most Popular Song of the Year - As much as I'd love Woso remix to win this one, this award is between Africa Money and Angelina. From the little research I did, I think Angelina would win. I'll prefer Africa money out of the two though.

Discovery of the Year - Asem and R2Bees have had more popular song Wanlov the Kubolor may steal this. I'll argue Richie wins this though because of his influence on Gh Rap and hiplife now so I'm pulling for Richie here.

Best Male Vocal Performance (Solo/Group) - Kwabena Squared should really invest in some music videos, he could have had a much better year if he did. I think his voice is special but Richie shined on Frema too. I think Kwabena Kwabena takes this one though.

Best Female Vocal Performance (Solo/Group) - Bernice was great on Life, I think she should win this one

Hip Hop Song of the Year - What's this hip hop song of the year versus hiplife song of the year? Like Wanlov said, Kokonsa is not a hiplife song. In fact, how isn't I dey mad nominated here? Atrocious. I don't like any of the nominees here but if forced to make a decision, I'll say Woso.

Hiplife Song of the Year - I guess this category is for the GH-Rap-less songs and those with the more traditional hiplife/highlife beats. I'll go for President Obour here, it stands out together with Medo Mmaa.

Hiplife / Hiphop Artiste(s) of the Year - Asem may take this one home. I don't think Praye was a mainstay on the concert scene this year. Final answer - Asem.

Gospel Song of the Year - This is one of the toughest categories. Go High became political but was a major hit. I'll take Akokofunu though, really great song.

Gospel Artiste (s) of the Year - I'd love to see Philipa Baafi win this one but I don't know if she can beat out Christiana Love.

Contemporary Highlife Song of the Year - Is Michael going to win a post-humous award? May very well be the case. Ngozi doesn't have that much competition. My favorite nominee here is Do No Bi though and I'd like to see Kwabena win here too.

Contemporary Highlife Artiste(s) of the Year - What did Ofori Amponsah or Lucky Mensah do all year? This was a bad year for highlife artistes. I'll take Daddy Lumba, at least he had a hit track in Nana Winner.

Afro Pop Song of the Year - Another hilarious category. Does CharterHouse who Afro-Pop artistes are? The closest thing to an Afro-pop song nominated is Frema and it should win.

Reggae Song of the Year - How isn't Black Prophet nominated? Samini shouldn't be. His time will come this year. The only nominee I heard was Barack Obama and I wasn't feeling that song so much but it'll get my vote.

Best Collaboration of the Year - The real winner here should be Gimme blow remix but it failed to get nominations because it was deemed profane. I'd like to see the Christiana Love & Kwaku Gyasi track win but I'll also settle with a win for Woso remix.
