Young Vim has been putting it down sence 2005, but been singing when he was in first grade. Always in talent shows singing and dancing, winning most of them as well. Young Vim is a Ghanaian native who came to the States in December 1998, with his mother and two sister to join his father.
Young Vim always knew some how he was going to come overseas, so when he did he tried to make sure his dreams come true. He join the Drammer Club, also went to the Boys and Girls club which gave more chances to show off his love for music and dancing. In grammer school Young Vim won a talent show with "The Tong Songs, which made him know as one of the best dancer and singer around the northside of Chicago, yet still rap skills have not landed.
In high school, Young became a big fan of "Cash Money Records", and knew almost all the songs of CMB made from head to toes. Vim started to write his own raps and at the same time was one of lead singers in his church
He also tried to make beats by beating the tables at launch for others to rap, and man, he was good at it too. But he knew he was better then all of them.
After high school, Young Vim started DJing and still sang while brushing up on his rap skills, whiles in college. After college, was when he started to take the rap game head and came across MoBeatz and that's when his rap game started.
MoBeatz make the beatz and Young Vim put a flow to it, and now they make hits together. His album "HoodAfricanz" is going to make the world goes nuts.
