BIOGRAPHY
After making hits for other artistes and himself, the Tema pioneer is about to release his second most important album--the highly anticipated ‘Rapacholic’.His current album ‘Makye’, has produced fan-favorites, including ‘Baby’, ‘Push’, ‘Alter’ and ‘Borga’, which are presently gaining momentum at radio stations, parties and nite clubs.
His 'Lay Away' song with label mate, Sway showed how rapid, his 'fire flow' can be.
Loyal Sarkodie fans, who have been following the motormouth hiphop/hiplife emcee since the days of “Kasahare Level” hosted by Dr. Duncan on Adom FM are always thrilled when they see him now.
Although he's known for his machine-gun raps, Sarkodie was able to gun down 5 awards out of eight nominations at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards with his maiden album as a underground artiste.
For now, Sarkodie is one of the most important figures in hiphop/hiplife history in Ghana.
