Another hip hop chick is about to blow unto the Ghanaian music scene.
Known as Nanaheemar, Nana Afua, a university graduate from Legon, University of Ghana got signed to Xtra Large Music, the same label that unleashed Kaakie.
Widely rated as the underground ‘queen of rap in Ghana’, the former psychology student made her name in the ‘Bless The Mic’ programme.
Her latest debut single dubbed “Bossu” is gaining more airplay than expected.
‘Currently, my hit single “Bossu” is what I’m using to tease radio, the pubs and the streets… I am in studio working on more hot songs which definitely will be coming out soon. I am doing some collabos with some of the ‘heavyweight’ musicians in Ghana but i am keeping their names as a surprise till i drop the songs” she added in an interview with www.toontoom.com.
When asked what Ghanaians should expect from her, she responded “can Ghana get enough of me lol? I am unlimited. I drop the surprises when you least expect it. Just keep the suspense till i drop a next. I’m the ‘boss gyal’….with “bossu”.!!!!
