BIOGRAPHY

Kimina real name is Christabel Ogbo Awoodey Portuphy. She was born and bred in Ghana Ada as her hometown.

Kimina attended Nodi Fair- Achimota Primary/J.S.S, St. Roses Secondary School and University of Cape Coast - Methodist University (Graduated with Bachelor Of Arts).

She started rapping and freestyling in 1999, but was doing it as a hobby, amongst playing piano, swimming, dancing, sports, watching movies, listening to music, and writting lyrics.

Kimina partook in the Hall pageant of UCC, called 'Miss Adehye', when she was in her 1st year and came as the 1st runner up.  In 2008, Kimina was auditioned and qualified to partake in the Miss University Of Cape Coast , (Miss UCC), and she won hands down.

Furthermore, Kimina partook in another pageant, Face Of Tertiary,  in competing for an ambassador for child Labour, later in the same year. She won again out of all the the tertiary queens who participated.

Her first official song release was LOVE YOU FOREVER which was produced by Prolifik and mastered by Moni 3), she also featured Seke 9c, on the 12th October, 2011.

Her second official song release was ASHAWOJOO and  she later released her official music video for 'LOVE YOU FOREVER'.

Now, in 2012, Kimina is working tirelessly on her album, titled "Family Affair"  which consist's of 10 banging tunes of different genres. She featured her cousin, UK based artiste, TIP TAHIR on all 10 songs, as Well as Scizo

Family Affair is yet to be launched so fans gotta stay tuned.
