ID, Born Iddrisu Abdul Rahman is a DC based recording artiste. Born on the 29th of August 1992, ID grew up listening to the likes of Obrafuor, Craig David, Jah Rule, Eminem, Chamillionaire and Skillions.

The name "ID" came from the surname Iddrisu, a prophet of Allah. He chose this name because his music carries messages for both the good and the bad.

He learnt more about rap music in DC when he met friends like Blaka, JayLush, Quabena Scary, Eagle and Kojo Kombolo.

The stage of his life where music started running through his veins was in the SHS (KOFORIDUA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL now OTI BOATENG SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL) where he met emcees like Xylo, M-Blaq, Travellex, Cracks, Faculty, Lexis and Poundz.

Since then music has been part of him as he later worked with Blaq Vybz Entertainment and OBD Recordz where he was privileged to work with artistes like Jid, CT, Blaka, AJ, N_A, Nanaheemar, Kodi, 1 Cedi, Xylo, Nkyene, Piino Jay, Esinam, Milli, 2 Coins and Kridix with producers like JayLush, Pesewaz, T-Ray and Kodi.

ID is a young talented Emcee who has a lot to offer to GH music and the world at large. He believes music is not all about one's self but its about sending messages to people in a way to make listeners happy. He's ready to do anything for his fans with music because he believes in the power of it.
