BIOGRAPHY

Born may 15,1985 in Mallam, a small city found in Accra-Ghana. D.I Green was found to be an exceptional character among his friends even at tender age. He was the influiencial type as he was often found in the company of both boys and girls at school during play time due to the fact that his ways easily attracted everybody around him.

Thus, he gain much popularity as growing up. Michael Excidem Gazo as originally known, attended the 'Radiantway Basic School' where he attained both primary and junior high education.

While in school, he participated in most of the school's activities, like inter schools competitions, music and dance group,and other clubs and organisations. He performed at most fan fairs and school jams often organised by the school and this gave made him much porpularity that by the time he got to the junior high level he was alraedy a high school super star.

"D.I" was the best freesytl mc of his time during his junior high school days eventhough there were a lot of sick rappers at that time.this became a very heavy mantle for the 'star boy'as he always had "BEEF" to settle. Dope Mcs came from all coners but the earth, but D.I was the illest.

His friends called him "ILL" then later 'DEEP ILL' for that matter.

DEEP ILL took the rap game to the next level at senior high school and continued to murder more beats and Mcs. Here, D.I realised fully,his ptential and dream and decided to make it a reality no mater how hard the struggle may tend to be. Following this big dream D.I has alot of track which reflects his musical struggle andlifestyle even after his tetiary level of education where he read communication studies and radio an TV broadcasting. D.I Green, currently a broadcaster by proffession has been on shows like GHANA ROCKS, 4 SYTE TV, AKWAABA UK, EMPIRE ENTERTAINMENT and many other shows organised by media houses nation wide.

On the new album "CHANGES" which is yet to be released, D.I Green has tunes that tell the full story of his other side which he calls 'REAL' and promises to make the best out of it. Singles like KEEP GRINDING, AM A WINNER, AKESHAWELE and PLAY DAT SONG current on the BLACK STAR mixtape released in August 2011 are testimonies of true greatnes.
