“The aim was not only for Ghana’s December 08 election. It’s about the principles of living together in Africa and the whole world”, Chemphe said in an interview.

Flava Records has a multi-faceted approach that will drive home the message as effectively as possible Chemphe revealed that the campaign came about as an inspiration from God. “God has a message for Africans so through my single, which is also on my upcoming album, the word will go far. Leadership is above presidency. It’s all about moving forward and strengthening our nation”, he added.

In addition, Flava Records has in the pipeline a list of celebrities who would deliver a series of televised public service announcements that would be distributed worldwide through various networks; radio stations, tv stations and some selected websites like Ghana Music.com would also be delivering the campaign’s message. And you know what, the music video which was produced by Phamous People has received good reviews on Ghana Music.com and is set to go places.

A range of merchandise will soon be available, with all proceeds going to an NGO which will be disclosed soon.

The ‘One People’ song was written by Chemphe with help from many special friends. The result is a wonderful song filled with irresistible rhythms, exquisite voices rising up in heart-stopping harmonies and music which serves as a reaffirmation of unity -joins one person to the next, one voice to the next, one heart to the next, one continent to the next.

Chemphe demonstrates in a glorious manner on the song that the elements which join all of us far outnumber and far outweigh the factors which divide us.
