There will be lots of reggae in the air at the Shining Beach, near Coco Beach at Nungua next Sunday, October 5 when Chizzy Wailer launches his new 17-track album called Reality.

The concert to launch the album takes off from midday and is dubbed Constitution Change! World Over. The show will showcase reggae acts like the Vibration Kings, Prez Khex, Revo, Fikiu and Blakk Rasta.

A statement from Chizzy’s management said other musicians expected there to support the reggae artiste are Lord Kenya, Samuel Owusu, King David and Commander Mezziah.

Chizzy is an active member of the Reggae Foundation which is affiliated to the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and has featured at several reggae shows across the country.

“I have a lot of respect for Chizzy,” said Daddy Bosco of Adom FM and one of the most knowledgeable persons about reggae in this country. “He is consistent and serious about what he does.”

Songs from the reality album that Chizzy is expected to play live at the Shining Beach concert on Sunday include Constitution, Africa, Raggamuffin Gal, Sensi, Oppressor, Baby Don’t Go and Mi No Know.
