It might not sound right in your ears, if it’s not then, make a ‘fist’ and bang it against your head that’s if you are an already established fan or new fan of the Abodam family. On the second day of President Bush trip to Ghana, little did Kwaw Kese know he was going to stand face to face with President George W. Bush. After President Bush had his bilateral talks with President Kufuor he made way to the residence of the American Ambassador to Ghana, Pamela E. Bridgewater.
“We presented some of our works to someone at the US Embassy who gave us to chance to meet President Bush”, Fennic, the hardworking manager of Kwaw Kese said.
Could everyone believe that even though President Bush had a tight schedule he was able to give Kwaw Kese thirty minutes of his time. “President Bush had a feel of my dreads whiles I gave him an insight of what we Ghanaian hiphop artistes have got”, Kwaw Kese.
Bush asked him questions like “How is business for you?, Are they buying your records?, What kind of music I did and the influence it had on people”
“It’s a ‘crazy’ privilege to meet the man regarded as the world’s strongest man. Gradually we are taking the mic to the international level”, Kwaw Kese said.
Kwaw Kese did not forget to tell Bush his responsibilities he gave to society especially the less privilege in society to which President Bush promised to give him his support when he comes to the states. Ghana Music.com is revealing that Kwaw Kese will be coming to the Washington DC, USA on the 17th May, people can start update their PDAs, calenders and iphones of his coming.
President Bush is hoping to have Kwaw Kese on his campaign team which fights against Malaria in Africa. President Bush came with Jordon Sparks, winner of American Idols 2007 who is also fighting the Malaria epidemic in Africa. President Bush announced a $17 million package for Ghana to fight Malaria this year and a further $350 million initiative to fight neglected tropical disesaes in Africa over the next five years before he left for Liberia today.
There has been some out bursts by hiphop artistes like Kanye West that Prez Bush doesn’t care about Black Americans but he has proven them all wrong with what he has done with Kwaw Kese .
50 cent has come out publicly to voice out that he wishes to meet President Bush one day so far not any Black American hiphop artiste has ever met President Bush, come to mention names like Jay Z, Kanye West or P. Diddy.
President Bush is currently on an African tour with his wife and Condoleezza Rice, the US Secretary of State. President Bush has made policies on aid and trade in Africa but has not yet made any on music.
Kwaw Kese has made a great deal of noise with his coined word “ABODAM” also meaning madness which is on the lips of every music lover of hiphop/hiplife music.
Kwaw Kese early this year beefed up his promotion of his album (Odiem) by adding a video dubbed “Wo Se Mbaa Pewo” and paying respect to Reggie Rockstone in the video.
Kwaw Kese has been well received in the Ghanaian music industry as everyone sees he truly hustled his way up to the road of success. Truly the King of Streets has finally met the President of the World. I can’t end the article without writing Kwaw Kese’s slogan – “Fa Won Sa Bo Wa Dwene, Abodam!!!!”

•THIS IS A BIG LIE!!!!THE PRESIDENT WENT TO THE AMBASSADOR’S RESIDENCE TO MEET WITH THE STAFF OF THE EMBASSY. KOW KESE CAME THERE. THE PRESIDENT SPENT 20 MINUTES WITH THE ENTIRE STAFF BOTH GHANAIAN AND AMERICAN STAFF OF THE EMBASSY AND SHOOK HANDS WITH THOSE IN THE FRONT ROW INCLUDING KOW KESE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND. THEREAFTER HE WENT TO HAVE LUNCH WITH THE PEACE CORSE VOLUNTEERS IN GHANA.
This story is not a true account of what happened when the president met the Embassy community at the Ambassadors residence. As said by some one earliar, he me them for 20 min and shock hands with some people and too pictures with the children. But kwow did not have any meeting with the President. That is never true. He took a picture as you can see and shock hands with him. But the rest of the story is not true. I will edge you to cross check your stories before publishing them.
wow..this is awesome..congrats kwaw kese..love u
good job.
well done kwaw!!!!keep the streets alive!!
Dear friends, I think we are trying to misunderstand kwaw, if kwaw shoke the prez hands or if he was at the embassy at the time of the USA prez’s,arrival the bottom line is, he has meet with the prez, that does not mean that they had one on one talk. May be he should have said at the time of the prez Bush’s arrival at the embassy he was there, I personally find nothing wrong with kwaw saying that he has met with the prez of the USA, people be happy for him and share his dreams of meeting with the USA prez.
y boy i feel u man get ur shine on.
