Masekela, Becca video causes stir in S.A.
The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) will soon start telecasting the latest musical video of world-acclaimed South African music star, Hugh Masekela and Ghanaian music diva Becca.
The video which is expected to be shown on certain TV stations in eastern and southern Africa also is for the hit track, titled ‘I LOVE YOU’. The track is one of the best if not the best song on Becca’s maiden album “U Lied to Me”.
“I Love You” features the renowned Masekela, whose dexterity on the trumpet is vividly brought to the fore in the song. Indeed, the music icon, Hugh Masekela decided to feature on Becca’s album because he saw a great musical potential in her on meeting her for the first time.
The song, according to information from Masekela’s outfit, is receiving massive airplay in South Africa as well as in neighbouring countries.
Industry watchers in both South Africa and Ghana have not only applauded the quality of the current video, but have also described Hugh Masekela’s collaboration with Becca as his best so far with a young artiste anywhere in the world.
This world-class music video was as usual put together by the one and only Abraham Ohene Djan for OM Studio and comes out as one of his very best.
