The ”Battle” was exciting last Sunday with all eight contestants proving they were in a class of their own.
It was the fourth competition of the week in the event. Each contestant performed his or her own preferred song which was engrossed by all.
Studio audience were singing and dancing alongside each contestant that came to perform. The Judges comprising Allan, ‘notorious’ Mark and Paulina Oduro were also around to groom the contestants.
All the contestants, Prince, Paa, Cee, Faya, Isaac, Joe, Kofi, Dela commenced the show with some breathtaking song and all proved to both the audience and the Judges they were ready for the battle ahead of them.
Cee broke the battle grounds with ‘ Odumfo’ by Daughters of Gloriou Jesus. Her unique and powerful voice soothed the hearts of the Judges as well as the audience.
Followed was Faya who performed ‘ I undersand’ But her choice of song did not sink too well in the hears of Judges Mark.
Paa took turns with ‘ When I see you smile’ He was able to m ove the crowd with his stage performance. Judge Mark advised him on his style of singing .
Dela took the challenge to do ‘ If I ain’t got you’, though she did her best it did not go well for ‘notorious’ Mark.
Joe’s rendition of song ‘ So unbelievable’ soothed the hearts of Judges. ”You ve’ got a sweet melody voice” says Judge Paulina.
Prince did a song entitled ‘Mysterious girl’ which was engrossed by all. Next was Isaac who also did quite well. It all ended well with Kofi who did a song by Paapa Yanson. His voice was just as Paapa Yanson. His timing, stagecraft and tone was just perfect. He was the hero of the night.
Three contestants found at the last three bottom were Dela, Paa and Faya but unfortunately the Judges had to choose one to stay in the competition. It fell on Paa. That was the second time Paa had been given a chance in the competition.
For the next five weeks, viewers should expect nothing short of real entertainment, music, tears, laughter and dancing as the Battle continues. Viewers are avdised to vote their favourite contestants to Tigo short code 888 as well to all networks.

They all did very well but i was hoping Dela would make it to the finals of the battle.
I wish them success in their career ecp. Dela’s album.
I want to congratulate TV3 for the help they are giving to the young talents. My only problem is with the free hand that has been given to the public to decide on who stays in the battle. I think it should be 50 from the public and 50 from the judges otherwise some good talents may find their way out of the competition earlier than their they are surposed to go because they do not have votes whiles the porpular but not too good ones get to stay and probably win at the end.A similar case is Paa who is always on the receiving end but to many people a very good singer.
Good work TV3 and Tigo for the good work you are doing.I was sad Dela left last sunday because to me she is a very good singer and she already looks like a star. All the same she shoudn’t give up in her quest to become a star.Congratulation to Paa for surviving yet another scare.Good luck to all the contestants.
