Mr. Black talks to MC Lyte

DJ BlackSince joining the multi-media team in 2001 Mr Black a.k.a Mr Toontoom has gradually become a household name and force in the hiphop world. The Open House Party which is one of his flagships has grown to become the most listened to Saturday show in the country.

It is a common thing to hear good music from the  Open House Party on Joy FM pumping through the speakers of pubs, cars, phones, laptops, etc. It could be attributed to the maintenance of hits and breaking new music first in Ghana on the show.

The radio program does not only stay in the studios at Faanofa street but is the first radio show to have toured Accra in a spate of 5 years bringing with it the sound and mixes of his Blackness.

A lot of artistes have been on the opposite side of the microphone with DJ Black. From international musicians to unknown artistes, his blackness has rubbed shoulders with giants such as Akon, Wayne wonder , Rampage of flipmode squad, Kovas, Kabelo of Channel O , Shaggy, Rik Rok, Rayvon, Reggie Rockstone,Dj Rab, Dj Kofi, Excel the Mixmaster, to name but a few.

On Saturday December 14th, DJ Black will yet again add another name to his portfolio. Mc Lyte, a name that is embedded with hiphop ,will be the special guest artiste on the open house party on Joy FM. The interview will be via phone and will bring the Grammy award winning U.S MC Lyte to the ears of her many admirers.

Whatever you do, please do not miss this exclusive one on one interview with as she talks about her new single, ‘Beautiful’ and happenings in her life.

MC Lyte is ahiphop legend, so goddmn what? what questions would Black ask him that will serve us benefits. How is US? How many albums you have? Ever been to Africa? State Of hiphop and your fav track are the likely questions. so pls, lets tackle issues bedevilling our industry and drp this bullshit
