Brother of Archbishop Duncan Williams and one of the pioneers of gospel music in Ghana, Ola Williams has passed away.
A source at the Christian Action Faith Ministries told Beatwaves that the musician, who was diabetic and had been ill for some time now, died on Friday morning at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra where he was on admission.
The source further said the illness which allegedly caused his death was not confirmed but indicated it had been with him for quiet sometime.
His death is a blow to the arts society which has already suffered a number of losses this year.
Ola’s death closely followed that of Khojo Acquai, a legendary classical Ghanaian musician, Mufty Dabre, a presenter and Bishop Osei Bonsu, a gospel musician.

May his soul rest in peace.hop he is in heaven.
