Sexy Tinny is not petty…Ga Rap Mantse explains speculated brawl with Scizo
Ghana’s hiplife Ga Mantse, Sexy Tinny, has explained that he is too mature to enter into a brawl with Scizo, an upcoming hiplife musician.
Speaking to Arts Crusade, Tinny expressed shock at how the speculation that he had a brawl with Scizo spread so fast and very wide.
“I do not have a brawl with Scizo. That would be very petty of me and as you know Sexy Tinny is not the petty type at all. Scizo has been someone very close to me. I have done him a lot of good and I was not expecting him to pay me back because I was doing that to help him and there were no strings attached, neither was it for fee.
“I remember, when I was accommodating him at my Haatso residence. By then, he was learning how to write songs and I helped him a lot. But in showbiz, if you are not smart enough but decide to act based on what people say, you would always have problems with people who have no problem with you but rather wish you well,” Tinny explained.
When asked why he thought having a brawl with another artiste amounts to been petty, Tinny said he has nothing to gain in having a brawl with an upcoming artiste like Scizo.
“Why, that is not my style. I would not be an obstacle to any new artiste. They are no threats to me anymore. My focus is somewhere else now I mean, going international. Most of my fans are ladies and they like sexy moves not quarrels and bad blood between me and someone like Scizo. Please mention bigger names not Scizo ok?”
The celebrated musician also disclosed that he was currently recording some tracks at the studios. Tinny disclosed that the album he is working on has tracks which have a completely different style from all his previous albums. He said the change in style had come about because the music industry has changed and “hip hop” was fast becoming unpopular.
“For example, when I released ‘Makola Kwakwe’ it became a big hit and actually shot me to fame. But ‘Makola Kwakwe,” would not be a hit if I had released that album today. The industry had changed much and music lovers would want to listen to new hits.
Trust me, it is not fun that I spend sleepless nights at the studios, I am working on something that would catapult us to where we all pray Ghana music should get to” Tinny disclosed.
Arts Crusade has also gathered that a fan club meant to celebrate Tinny would be outdoored by the end of the year.
The club, to be known as “Aletse Fan Club”, would have a network of branches all over the country. The very first one would be outdoored in Accra, precisely at La Burkina Apapa, a suburb of the city.
Explaining to Arts Crusade the rational behind the “Aletse Fan Club”, one of the brains behind the concept, Ayew Amoah, a.k.a Solar, said Tinny had been an inspiration to many young people, especially, those who want to enter the music industry.
Solar noted further that Tinny, (a.k.a Aletse Kankpe) was among the very few hiplife musicians with an exemplary moral background.
“Tinny, you would be surprised, does not drink any alcoholic beverage, does not smoke, does not misbehave at his shows and is always decently dressed. We want to prove to all young persons who want to do hiplife music that it is possible to be a hiplife star without smoking or drinking. We want people to know that hiplife is not about immorality or indecency”, Solar explained.
Other young persons Arts Crusade spoke to in the area said though Tinny had only two friends whom he visits in the area, he had become a friend to all in a very short time.
Arts Crusade learnt that before Tinny burst into the music industry, he used to visit two of his friends, “Olonka” and “Laryea Don” in the area. When he became a music star, he kept frequenting the area and on weekends, played soccer with the youth.
Tinny was reported to have exhibited a very humble and generous character to an extent that he had earned the affection of both the old and young in the area.
He is known in private life as Nii Addo Quaynor. He is the last born of six children and thus, got the name “Tinny” from his mum.
He had his Senior Secondary education at Okuapeman Senior Secondary School. He also had his basic education at the Osu Salem Junior Secondary School, Hepter International School at Akim Oda and the Osu Home School.
He is noted for his Ga lyrics and started rapping at the tender age of eight at parties and entertainment programmes.

Please, gimme a break. why are you guys praising Tinny? For what? What at all did he say to warrant praise? Maturity indeed. The man is afraid of beef, I mean Lyrically war, the kind of war which requires you fellow artist to tell you how you suck in your lyrics and that for me is beef. The homie Scizo is not a classy artist but he’s tight and I ‘ll compare him to Tinny at every given chance. Did you read Tinny well? ” mention som big names, not Scizo” Common, Tinny has no respect for the young gun Scizo so why the f**k should Scizo show him respect. Tinny career is in shambles. You guys stop running your mouth out here this 2 artist are great musicians,but why dont you get to know the 2 off them and decide who is real and who is fake,thats when you would find out that one of this to guys is an opportunist and will only be around you when he will get something from you,and am not surprised that one accomodated the other and later pay him back with evail,thats what he is and its a fact.between this two artist we talking about here,i know one very well,he acts too CONCEITEDLY,and UNGRATEFUL as well.Change

Yo why are all yall sayin Tinny is a snitch? I don’t think yall even know what a snitch is. Because nothin tinny has done shows he is a snitch. And lets be real Scizo is a mediocre rapper compared to tinny. Listen to that track he did with bollie, Bollie killed him on his own track. The way aletse puts his raps together and the way he expresses himself is the envy of all Ga rappers. Shilo, Scizo, Buk Bak, and any one else who raps in Ga are still crawling in the dirt eating Tinny’s dust, you can insult him all you want but the proof is in the album sales and the popularity, compared to Tinny who the fuck is Scizo? Let it die Tnny does not need to beef with Scizo and after the shame Tinny put on Buk Bak (which was most responsible for their break up) why would any one wanna beef wit tinny his lyrics can murda any one who steps up.
