Stars Of The Future logoCome August 4 this year, the National Theater in Accra will shake to its very foundations as another star will be introduced into the world through the Areeba sponsored Stars of the Future reality show.

As part of preparation to wrap up the programme, the leading mobile network in the country, Areeba last Tuesday presented gifts to the 12 contestants in the on-going reality show.

In addition, the 12 contestants were taken to the various Areeba offices in Accra to familiarise themselves with the different services provided by the network.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Chief Marketing Officer of Areeba, Mr. George Andah, said the company on the group level considers music as one of its critical branding vehicles.

This, he added, manifests in the company’s sponsorship of the Stars of the Future and other massive musical programmes in the country.

The programme is primarily aimed at encouraging young talents in Ghana and it is driven to unearth raw talents in music and groom them to stardom.

The ideal age to participate in Stars of the Future is between 16 and 26 years with outstanding talent and charisma. A contestant must possess the following qualities in good quantum.

Mr. Andah observed that one of the motivations for sponsoring the programme is to further enrich the brand’s experience for all customers.

He assured that the company will continue to work with key stakeholders to unearth talents for the future of the music industry in Ghana.

On her part, the Event Manager for the programme, Nkechi Oliseh, noted that the Stars of the Future was designed to give promising artists an opportunity to showcase their talents and give teenagers and young adults the opportunity to channel their potential to meaningful and positive results.

She added that it is also to reactivate the potential of Ghanaian music by establishing a process that will produce budding stars every year.

On behalf of Charter House Ghana, the organisers of the programme, Oliseh commended Areeba for making the idea a reality.
