It will be a dream come true to have ‘a killer event’ fuelled by the voices of Mzbel, Tic Tac, Okurasenii, OD4, FBS, Tinny and K. K. Fosu blaring out of the speakers. Well, AkwaabaUK has the answer to Ghanaian community based in UK and will be granting that wish of lovers of Ghanaian music. AkwaabaUK, the biggest event organiser in UK will hold the annual ‘Meet Me There’ July Picnic with Ghanaian hiplife artistes.
This year, CEO of AkwaabaUK, Radicle D, taps hiplife artistes such Mzbel, Tic Tac, Okurasenii, OD4, FBS, Tinny and K. K. Fosu for the event.
All roads will definitely lead to Trent Park, Cockfosters Rd, London Enfield EN4 on the Saturday 28th July. Hiplife fans can see a lot of great artistes for a ticket fee of £5 (kids) and £10 (adults). Tickets for the show are now on sale at every afro shop in UK.
The show is part of Radicle D’s way of celebrating the Ghana@50 independence in a grand style. If you haven’t heard Mzbel’s, FBS’s, Najo’s and K. K. Fosu’s latest album, this is the chance of hearing it and see them in person.
In addition to the music performances, there will be football matches, ludo and oware games, photo shoots, spectacular costumes that will be on sale, traditional freshly cooked African food, plus many arts and crafts stalls.
‘Meet Me There’ partners include Ghana Union, Agoo Magazine, Active Media, Fidelity Bank, Areeba, Afriqiyah Airways, Blazing Gear and Oh Yes.
This is an awesome opportunity by AkwaabaUK for people to see not only one artiste but see old friends. Don’t be left out in this upcoming mammoth event. Please meet me there.
