RamzyPrince Wilhelm Amui, otherwise known as Ramzy, of Stars of the Future fame has been granted bail and can finally breathe the air of freedom, albeit partial.

“The biggest lesson is to be careful with friends, be extremely careful with friends. The fall of the yellow leaf they say, is a warning to the green leaf. It’s painful though but it’s good, God used me, at least somebody people know,” Ramzy told showghana.com.

He couldn’t utter a word on the case in court but shared his experience in prison and the lessons learnt while in Nsawam.

Ramzy said people he had fed and clothed constantly for three years who slept in his room before the court case came up deserted him at a time he needed them most but was quick to add that what happened was the will of God. Ramzy was arrested early last February for his alleged involvement in armed robbery.

Asked whether the case affected his music career he said: “well it hasn’t affected it at all but what happened was, I was at the verge of my break through when I had to go to West African Idol and I knew if I had been in I would have won. But anyway all had to happen. If there were no bigger things in life for me this wouldn’t have happened, I would have achieved it before anything could happen but may be this would have been a blockade so God said o.k go through this and learn.”

Ramzy was the 1st runner up during the maiden edition of Stars of the Future, a reality TV show organized by Charterhouse. He’s now at home awaiting continuation of trial and says he hardly goes out these days. He admits he’s blessed to be counted among people out here and not in there.
