In a matter of days, African music fans in Europe and America will witness the much-expected musical tour of Ghana’s leading music stars, A.B. Crentsil and Obour, from July 30 to December 30, 2007.
Coming at a time when the music industry in Ghana is in dire need of global attention and enormous investment, Obour and A.B Crentsil are getting ready for their impending world musical tour dubbed ‘’, designed to promote Ghanaian music, culture and tourism.
Lord Kenya, Kokovelli, Kwaw Kese and Mustapha Ali aka Baba Shanti would perform alongside AB and Obour.
According to the general manager of Family Tree Entertainment, Stephen Howard, Obour and his 18-man team would travel throughout Europe and America for live musical and cultural performances in major cities to promote Ghanaian music, culture and tourism.
He said the best of Ghanaian music world tour is being organized in collaboration with Ghanaian communities abroad.
He estimated that the tour would attract Ghanaian and African music fans worldwide and would be broadcast live on certain radio and television stations in Europe and America.
Stephen Howard hinted that the 20-destination performance tour would include countries like France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, UK, Canada, USA and Australia.
All artistes on the bill would perform with live band music.

Sun. August 11 - Germany, BERLIN
Sat. August 25 - Canada, TORONTO September (date to be anounced soon) - USA, Wooster/Boston, New York, Washington, Chicago, Texas, California/LOS ANGELES Sat. December 29 – Round-up Event in UK, London.
The tour is proudly sponsored by Western Union Money Transfer, Onetouch, Ghana International Airline, Kasapreko Alomo Bitters and the National Insurance Council.

I hope her and me will be together by then when they come to the US. She’s happy to see me get into the music so much. Not hard. I love good music. And Ghana music is good. i met Obour, AB crensil and lord kenya today(2 august 2007) He is shorter then i thought, but extremly nice and he wanted to know when i’m going to take him out. i guess i made a great impression on him. i took a picture with him and he will be leaving on tuesday to continue the tour.
