The Eviction of 26 year old Wannabe star, Daniel Adobaw from Stars of the Future, might have come as a big blow to his friends and family but probably not for keen viewers of the TV series of the competition.
For the majority of those who watched his “Emmrika” performance of the competition’s maiden Ghanaian Night, his eviction comes as no surprise at all. For the first time, the performance of the “hatman” as he is probably referred to now, did not have that kick!
As watched on TV, his show was quite dry and did not move the audience as compared to his previous ones which always called for loud cheers. From judge Nana King’s own words, Daniel’s “Emmrika” Performance was mediocre and did not depict the Daniel he knew.
Until his last performance, Daniel was one of the few competitors of the competition who had each week enjoyed quite a number of positive remarks from judges Bibie Brew, Nana King and Zapp Mallet.
With one hand clinching to his hat, Daniel had always been welcomed on stage with a loud cheer that probably did not come with votes: The reason for his eviction!
On the night he was evicted Fredrica was also awarded with the Areeba Golden Moment with Akosua Agyapong’s Eka bi Nie, which she sang on the Ghanaian Night. Yesterday, there was another performance and this will again determine who goes home come Wednesday.
Whoever emerges winner of the competition will drive away a sleek VW Polo Sedan Car from Universal Motors and an international recording contract. The 1st runner up wins GH¢ 1,000, a 12 Inch Colour TV from LG and product hampers from FC, Close-up and LG. The 2nd runner-up will also win GH¢ 500 and product hampers from FC Beauty Klinik, Close-up and LG.
