Sunday July 1 was a great day for the people of Ghana as they came out in their numbers to celebrate the Republic Day.
Various entertainment joints and drinking spots were filled to bursting point as lovers of music drank and danced to mark the celebration.
At the Tesano Sports Club there was an impressive poolside jam dubbed, “Republic Day Pool Party Jam”, organised by Empire Entertainment in collaboration with Kasapreko Alomo Bitters.
The event attracted thousands of Ghanaians from all walks of life, who thronged the venue to celebrate the Republic Day in grand style.
Ghana’s popular rap artiste, A-Plus and a number of hiplife artistes performed to the satisfaction of all.
Amid shouting and singing, music lovers were seen dancing to show appreciation for the performances of artistes.
The atmosphere at the Tesano Sports Club was very calm and peaceful as the Police provided heavy security to ensure the safety of all.
Music lovers who were at the Pool Party Jam indeed had a good time as most of them swam while others were seen enjoying their drinks with their loved ones.
Artistes such as Bandana among others also staged brilliant live performances of some of their hit-songs to thrill fans.
The excitement would definitely not have been complete without the performances of celebrated star, Mr. Borax, who really exhibited rare stagecraft.
Borax’s performance provided joyous moments for all music fans.
It was indeed interesting watching the crowd sing alongside Borax. After his performance the crowd could not help but shout Borax! Borax!! Borax!!!
The event was hosted by Bola Ray of Joy FM, Wolf of 4Style TV, Komotion of Empire Entertainment and Ama Nevada of OBE TV, London.
At the Yegoala Hotel, Dansoman, Bad Girls Entertainment organised a musical concert at the poolside which also had large patronage.
