TV3 Mentor III was hot last Saturday with the seven contestants putting in their all to stay in the competition.
The eight contestants were presented with challenges this time around of singing breathtaking songs.
The four guys in the competition commenced the show by performing ‘My love’. Followed were the three ladies doing ‘Don’t let go’. All did their best to thrill both the Judges and the studio audience.
Faya from the Greater Accra took the great task of performing ‘Ordinary people’. He did the best his voice could allow him but the Judges picked on his poor timing and advised him accordingly.
Dela from the Greater Accra this time did not impress the Judges.
Erico from the Greater Accra stepped in with ‘Billy Ocean. Though it was a good performance, he was asked to work on his diction when dealing with foreign songs.
Nadjat from the Western region came up with ‘You are still the one’. She did not really impress the Judges after giving out her all during her performance.
Paul from the Eastern region did his best to impress both audience and Judges as well.
Paa from the Western region took turns by singing ‘Anytime I close my eyes’. He managed to do his best and that was enough to keep him going in the competition. His beautiful rendition of the song soothed the studio audience and the rest of the Judges’ heart.
Ras Lisa from the Ashanti region’s choice was ‘I came your way’. She was able to move the crowd.
Martin, the guest Judge from the Master Mix Band took audience home by giving out some spectacular sounds with his organ.
