FredericaThe saying that the best is saved for the last was evidenced last Sunday when Stars of the Future finalist, Fredrica, climaxed the first ever Ghanaian Night of the competition with Akosua Agyapong’s Oko bi Nie.

For her size, previous editions of the series have portrayed her as a very sweet voiced competitor with a pattern of selecting and singing only inspirational songs, often described as “difficult songs.”

That was why last Sunday when she stepped-on stage in full vigor, singing a genre of music that was probably not her style and yet did it so well; the cheers and applauds she received was simply deserving!

Dressed in an elegant but cutely designed dress, made-of ATL fabric, Frederica, like the three other female finalists of the competition was a delight to watch on stage. According to judges and as seen on TV, her stage presence which complimented her beautiful rendition of the song was very captivating.

As must have been observed, Frederica is in the competition for the 2nd time and has each time proved herself a worthy competitor singing challenging songs and coming out with an amazingly unique voice.

But Fredrica is not alone; deservingly, Noble, Betty, Sandra and Twum are worthy of a pat on their backs. Each of them, while enjoying themselves on stage thrilled the audience to the max. As each sang, the applauds remained ear deafening.

The night, perhaps, did not favor Clare, Justice and Daniel. The three, who have in previous episodes received a number of praises from the judges, this time were not at their very best. They seemed to have problems with their Twi dictions but did not fail to receive loud cheers from their fans.

Tonight on GTV at 8:30pm, one of the eight finalists will be evicted, taking the competition closer to its end. Who will drive away that sleek VW Polo Sedan car at stake?

Whiles fans are advised to vote for their favorite contestants on Areeba short code 1342, it is worth noting that the various series of the competition airs on GTV at 3:30pm on Sundays, 9:30am on Tuesdays (repeat), Wednesdays.
