Nana KingRapper, singer and recording engineer, Nana King aka William Konadu took his trade to neighbouring Nigeria in search of fame and fortune.

But recent events in his life in “Naija” has thrown him into a web of romance and rumours, some of which may put the rapper in trouble.

First, it was rumoured that he was having an affair with pretty Nigerian actress, Omotola Jolade Ekeinde aka Omo Sexy, who is married to, and has four children with popular pilot Matthew Ekeinde.

And then recently fresh “filla” had it that the singer was eyeing Frances, daughter of a former Delta State Governor, as well as other glamorous Nigeria women including the attractive movie queen, Rita Dominic.The paparazzi in Nigeria and Ghana are at his heels, some churning out wild stories that are selling hot.

Really, none of the newspapers has spoken to me and I wonder where they got their information from,’ Nana King told The Mirror at his Dansoman residence.”In fact, you are the first journalist to talk to me about Omo and all the other ladies mentioned in the stories,” he added.

Nana King denied ever dating Omotola. “We are good friends. I rapped on her musical album titled “Gba”.The song I did with her was quite romantic. “The Things You Do To Me” which we performed together and since then people have assumed that we are dating”.

He said he met Omotola through a friend, film director Ifeanyi Onyeagbo aka Big Slim, who got him to record a song with the actress/singer at the Midi Tone Studios in Nigeria.

According to Nana King he got on very well with the actress on professional lines and now they are family friends.

“My wife calls her and they chat and Omotola has even invited us to her home in Nigeria”.”I do not want to get into the drama so the journalists should find out the facts before they publish things about me. Omo is somebody’s wife, you know,” he said.

About the other women, Nana King said as a musician he has a lot of fans and being friends with some popular ladies does not mean having any amorous affairs with them.

His wife, Nana Queen who is also a singer told the Mirror that she had no problems with her husband having female friends.”After all, he always comes home to me and I love him for that”.

She said in show business there are a lot of rumours so she is not worried at all.Nana King was recently voted the Best Foreign Act in Nigeria at the Gbedu Music Awards held in February.

He currently signed on the Think Music record label in Nigeria where he enjoys a huge fan base. He has shared the same stage with Omotola and Senegalese-America popular singer, Akon.
