Quick ActionOn a quiet evening on March 30 19…, a bouncing baby boy who had music running through his veins was born. Fast forward to 2007 and Quick Action has become a household name. Everything that Joseph Appiah, known in showbiz circles as Quick Action touches turns into gold.

Big names and sharks like Batman Samini, Okomfo Kwaadee, Tic Tac, Afro Moses, Nana Quame, Bright (formerly of Buk Bak fame) and 4×4 have all had their songs blessed by the golden hands of Quick Action.

When songs pass through the scientific laboratory known as S24 Studios, the end product is a hit song. In bars, offices or in buses, it’s either the works of Quick Action being played or sports commentary.

Not only has he produced hiplife and highlife songs but ‘bombs’ for gospel greats such as Cindy Thompson, Mary Ghansah, Jane and Bernice, Bishop Michael Osei Bonsu and the likes. Hope you remember the instant hit song ‘Calvary Nyankopon’ by Cindy Thompson?

From the year 2000, Quick Action has had Ghana at his feet with songs like ‘I Do’ by Afro Moses ft VIP and Tic Tac, ‘Fefe na Efe’ by Tic Tac ft Tony Tetuilla, ‘Yeeko Mmaape’ by Okomfo Kwaadee, ‘Soldier Alafia’ and ‘Asemsebe’ by Nana Quame with the help of Zapp Mallet, ‘Condom’ by Bright, the current hit songs ‘Odo’ and ‘Music’ by Batman Samini and since then, there has not been any turning back.

He continues to blow and cause mayhems with his productions just like a hurricane. His latest works are that of 4×4’s song ‘Anaconda’, Kwaw Kesse’s new album, Andy (Mentor I 1st runner up ) ft Okuraseni’s (also a Mentor I contestant) ‘Fanta Dey High’ and ‘Dangerous Weather’, which are currently busting the charts in Ghana.

2007 and beyond will definitely see Quick Action as a music producer icon just like the hiphop icon, Grandmaster Flash.
